Accessibility

Schoolmail is used by a wide range of parents, guardians, and school staff, and we want the app, admin panel, and this website to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability. We're working towards conformance with WCAG 2.1 level AA across our products.

This website is built with semantic HTML, labelled form fields, and keyboard-accessible navigation, including a labelled and keyboard-operable mobile menu. We're continuing to review colour contrast, focus states, and screen reader behaviour as the site evolves.

As a newly founded product, some parts of the app, admin panel, and website haven't yet had a full accessibility audit. If you encounter a barrier using any Schoolmail product, we want to know about it.
